The product I joined
Redraw is an AI-powered platform that helps architects create and improve visual work.
As its capabilities expanded, each tool introduced its own controls, terminology and interaction patterns. Powerful workflows were becoming harder to understand, especially for users encountering AI tools for the first time.
My role was to bring greater clarity and consistency to these experiences while preserving the flexibility required by professional users.
Progressive complexity
One of my main contributions was redesigning the configuration panel used across Redraw’s generation tools.
The previous experience presented every option in a single form, giving basic and advanced controls the same visual weight. I introduced two levels of interaction: a focused default experience for common tasks and an optional Professional mode for more precise control.
Advanced settings were organized into contextual sections such as environment, lighting, atmosphere and scene elements. The generation cost and primary action remained visible throughout the workflow.
This structure is now live in the product, allowing Redraw to support different levels of expertise without maintaining separate experiences.
Building consistent workflows
The same focus on clarity guided my work on Multi-angle, another production workflow built around advanced image control.
Rather than treating each AI capability as an isolated tool, I applied reusable patterns to configuration, generation states, and results, creating a more consistent structure across the product.
Beyond the interface
My work also included helping Redraw communicate its vision beyond the product.
I created the company’s brand guidelines and designed the pitch deck used at South Summit Brazil 2026. Redraw won the Digital & Tech Solutions category, a collective company achievement and an important milestone in its trajectory.
Reflection
Designing for AI products means balancing capability with comprehension. At Redraw, my contribution has been turning increasingly powerful tools into experiences that feel structured, approachable and ready for professional use.
